Our goal is for every family to be involved in Worship and Sunday School on a regular basis. The Sunday School, quite simply, is the church organized for ministry - and, for so many reasons, it is our most vital ministry organization at Hot Springs Baptist Church.
We believe that Sunday School is for people of all ages, from the youngest preschool child to the oldest senior adult. It is a place where friendships are built, it is where ministry happens, and it is where life-change takes place. Our desire is to carry out small group ministry with purpose so that we might impact Hot Springs.
Community
Building vital and meaningful relationships with other believers is essential for Christian growth and we believe this happens best in a small group environment like Sunday School.
Assimilation
Through Sunday School, we want to help new members be introduced, informed, and involved. Our desire is to help believers discover who it is that God created them to be, and in turn, help them find their God - designed purpose in ministry.

Teaching
Communicating God's Word in a relevant way is a foundational ingredient of Sunday School if spiritual growth and life-changing are going to take place.
Prayer
Prayer is central to every aspect of the Sunday School ministry. Learning how to pray and praying for others are two fundamental elements for the growing Christian. We desire to be a church that recognizes and utilizes the power of prayer.

Evangelism
Reaching people in need of a personal relationship with Christ is a top priority for our Sunday School. Our goal is not only to involve unsaved people in Sunday School, but also to train believers to effectively share their faith as a way of life.

Ministry
The biblical foundation for "ministry" can be found throughout scripture. From the life of Jesus, we learned that He focused on ministry first, and in turn, it gave authority to all His teachings. Ministering to the needs of class members on a consistent basis helps provide the care, support and encouragement that we all need.
