Young Adult Ministry (ages 18-34)

Collegiate Department - Room 206

 

College means leaving family and friends behind.  College is an exciting and new experience.  As collegians set foot on college and university campus across the nation, their faith and convictions are challenged.  Believers on the college campus will hear from friends and professors things like, "Faith is just a crutch," "The Bible is just mythology," "Christianity is judgmental and intolarant," "Morality is different everywhere,"  "Everyone must find his own truth," "I can be good without God," or "Jesus was just a man who died."  The Collegiate department of HSBC exists to minister to collegians by building and growing relationships with Jesus Christ, His church, and our community.  We grow our relationship with Jesus Christ through small group Bible study on Sundays at 8:45 a.m.  We grow in our relationship with His church by planning monthly fellowships and other events and conferences.  We grow in our relationship with the community through service projects and other mission trips throughout the year.  You are invited to be a part of a new and exciting ministry of HSBC!

Young Singles Department - Room 208-209

 

Are you between the ages of 20 and 30-something?  Are you divorced? Are you a single parent? Have you never been married?  Because singles are very much a part of our church family, HSBC has a new Young Singles Department upstairs in Room 202.  The purpose of this new group is to develop young singles spiritually, socially, and in service to our Lord through weekly Bible study groups, recreational activities, and service opportunities.  No matter your life situation or circumstance, you are welcome here.  If you have any questions, call the church office and talk to Shane.

Young Married Couples - Room 109

Are you engaged?  Are you newly married?  Are you a young married adult with young children?  This is a place where young nearly and newly married couples can come together to play, pray, and share life experiences together.  This department seeks to build and grow young marriages through weekly Sunday morning Bible study groups, organized family events throughout the year, and connecting young adults in ministry and missions.  You are invited to be a part!
